Patient Responsibilities
As a patient, you also have certain responsibilities to ensure effective treatment and care:
- To provide complete and accurate information on demographic details as well as ECHS, insurance details wherever necessary.
- Treat hospital staff, other patients, and visitors with courtesy and respect.
- Refrain from activities that may disrupt the functioning of the hospital
- Abide by all hospital rules and regulations.
- No Smoking policy should be followed and use of alcohol, unauthorized drugs and weapons are strictly prohibited in hospital premises.
- Follow the prescribed treatment plan recommended by the physicians and other health care providers in attending physician's team
- Provide complete and accurate history and information about your health, including present condition, past illness, hospitalizations, medications or any other matter that pertains to your health.
- Accept financial responsibilities and settle your bills promptly.
- Patient is responsible for their own belongings. Leave valuables at home during the hospital stay as the hospital will not be responsible for the damage or loss.
- Patient when discharged should vacate the room as early as possible.
- Bystanders should produce the stay pass, when demanded by the concerned authorities.
- Usage of water, electricity and other resources should be limited.
- Strictly follow visiting hours and visiting formalities of the hospital.
